MQI Teams and Regional Learning Collaboratives:
MQI will adapt Equal Hope tools and successful action steps for Wisconsin, while emphasizing a transdisciplinary collaborative approach. This initiative is different from traditional research or dissemination and implementation because this approach involves engaging research, community-based organizations, and mammography providers as leadership in the initiative. It also aims to create learning collaboratives in multiple Wisconsin regions which will be sustained by members even after project funding ends. |
Learning collaboratives are created in healthcare to improve patient outcomes through shared learning and practice improvement.[1] These regional learning collaboratives will contribute to the development of a common set of measures to monitor mammography quality and the development of a shared measurement system to monitor and improve outcomes.
In 2022, the Initiative formed the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Learning Collaborative; in future years of the project, the Initiative will expand to additional regions.
