Walworth County Breast Cancer Collaborative Work Group (CWG)
The Walworth County Breast Cancer Collaborative Work Group (CWG) is addressing disparities in breast cancer screening and treatment for Latinas in Walworth County. The group identified key barriers related to awareness, coverage, and the transition from screening to treatment, highlighting the need for both service demand and access to quality, culturally sensitive care. Their approach emphasizes community engagement, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity and aligns with the 2022-25 Walworth County Community Health Improvement Plan.

It aims to enhance outreach and ensure the accessibility of culturally appropriate breast health information. Additionally, the project will expand existing referral services to provide one-on-one support and connect individuals to breast health resources across the county.
