Prostate Health Equity Project (PHEP)
Overview of Community-Focused Initiative:
The Prostate Health Equity Project, led by the Medical College of Wisconsin through the GMF Project, is committed to addressing prostate cancer disparities among Black men. This initiative leverages culturally grounded strategies to move beyond traditional outreach (e.g., churches and barbershops) and reach men where they are—gyms, community centers, family events, and beyond.
PHEP evolved from the solutions discussed in CCSN's Understanding Prostate Cancer Disparities Initiative.
