Collaborative Work Groups

Picture
The causes of disparities in cancer outcomes have complex root causes and and often involve interactions between individual biology, behavioral risks, as well as the socio-cultural, physical, and political environments.

CCSN's five Collaborative Work Groups worked in Milwaukee, Racine and Walworth counties as well as with the Lac du Flambeau tribe in Norther Wisconsin throughout Phase 1 with community members, community organizations, and researchers, to collectively develop solutions.

In Phase 2, teams began to implement these solutions.
